This ranks up there with watching the Seisouhen OAVs...three years ago.
I just finished my binge of second season Rescue Me, and oh my Lord, I have never cried so much in my life.
Sometimes this show is a little heavy-handed, but God, it's just so, so satisfying. I mean, I literally laugh and cry with great frequency while watching it. And also cover my eyes in horror and jump in shock and gesture frantically at the screen in panic and yell at everyone in anger. So basically my typical viewing experience. I don't know, in Rescue Me, though, my reactions are magnified, or the show changes from one extreme to another more quickly or something.
But Tommy getting slapped and abandoned? Tommy bottling up his grief and not talking at all? And then Tommy sobbing on the floor? YES THANK YOU. Also Tommy's hair is pretty. Hello I am shallow. And Tommy listened to me and didn't fall off the wagon! Go you Tommy, you are awesome just the lying, cheating, dead-people-seeing sonovabitch way you are, although happypills!Tommy is a fucking riot.
Sean and Mike are hilarious as always, and so, so, so gay.
I want more fallout from Tommy telling Sheila that he sees Jimmy's ghost.
Laura's departure makes me sad. Because I really really like her character on Rescue Me. I like her an awful lot. She's the only nod to any kind of feminism that we get. And now it looks like she's gone. But on Numb3rs the actress's new character annoys the crap out of me. She just sets my teeth on edge. ::shudders:: She's not a real person, she's like a Wade clone or something. (She's also way hotter on Rescue Me.) She has no depth as a character, and not much charm to make up for it. Dressing in a tank top and shit also does not endear her to me either. And the whole thing with her and Larry...just no. No.
::maybe off to watch Santa Clause 2 in shameful secrecy maybe::

Haha you corporate drone. Are they letting you do any real work now at all? Did you feel the urge to destroy cubicle walls with your mighty Mimi wrath?

Our condo faces the hotel, so I'm looking down and seeing a little person walk into the entrance of the Courtyard Marriot. At first, I think "Oooh, Midget!" until I realize it's probably being high up. Oh, well.
