Nov. 16th, 2005 05:15 pmI just realized that the new Darcy is the guy from MI-5! ( Clickety for pictoral evidence. )
I totally didn't recognize him! He's SO MUCH HOTTER as Darcy. I think it's the hair. Yum. I don't watch MI-5, but I recognized him from the vids, like this good vid "The Real Great Britain," with OMG MY BASHIR! ::snugs:: That's why I love this vid, not because of Darcy. And, okay, looking at another vid it looks like Anthony Stewart Head also guest-starred on this show. I may have to actually watch it.
You should have seen me trying to control myself in the theater during Kingdom of Heaven when Bashir came onscreen all unexpectedly and started BEING WONDERFUL AND LOVELY AS USUAL. God, I LOVE HIM.

You know though, when I watched DS9, I had no idea that Bashir was supposed to be Arabic. I just thought he was, um, tan... I WAS THIRTEEN OK?
And, huh, I don't think I have ever heard of a single Bashir vid. This is WRONG, and needs to be FIXED by someone who is NOT ME, because I already have too many fandoms to vid - oh GOD! - ::frantically staves off approaching vidbunnies::
Dude his *uncle* is Malcom McDowell? That's - okay that's really cool.
Oh, he and Kira got divorced! And *Garak* is his son's godfather?

Nov. 16th, 2005 06:59 pmSo there was English club today! And I brought my laptop up to show the three ichinensei that were there today random stuff because we didn't have anything exciting planned.
I showed them the Seaman Ship CM, and they agreed that it was cracktastic. So it's not just a Japan thing. It's actually a CRAZY thing.

And then I showed them Tokyo Breakfast because I like to CORRUPT THE YOUTH.

So the English teacher and I explained and - wow, I'm a really bad person, aren't I?
