Oh my *God*, why is Ningen Shikkaku so *sad*. The Kinki Kids belong *together*. It says so in their *theme song*. Makoto can't *die*. Waaaah, I couldn't stop crying last night, and I've been writing fixits in my head all day today. I don't think I've cried this hard at a TV show or movie *ever*. And now the plot's going to turn into a solve his murder thing right? I'd much rather go back to the angsty gay schoolboy love...
Makoto's death was even more painful because it was such a surprise. (I guess maybe I should have paid more attention to all the foreshadowing and the たとえ、僕が死んだら, huh...) Just like in Summer Snow I *never* expected that Tsuyoshi would *die*, even after he was in the hospital. After all, he's the *main character*. Who kills off the main character *halfway* through the series?? Who?? CRAZY JAPANESE WRITERS THAT'S WHO. Wah, I really resent them for that. They betrayed my narrative trust! I don't know if I can stop crying long enough to watch the six episodes I have left. They loom, sure to be filled with lots of annoying, too-late-revealed dramatic irony and no more boykissing.
