Tsuyoshi talked about how much he fangirls Kimura-kun and how he cried at a concert when Nakai-kun told the SMAP fans to take care of Kinki. It was well. ADORABLE.
The hosts wanted Koichi to answer the questions from the public, one of which was about his kiss with the girl in Ie Naki Ko 2, but he was all coy and wouldn't say whether they had kissed for real or not. "But I did with him!" he announces proudly and puts his hand on Tsuyoshi's shoulder.
Then they talked about the Ningen Shikkaku kiss, revisiting the issue of Koichi's worry that his saliva had dripped into Tsuyoshi's mouth and Tsuyoshi's creepy feeling when hearing that worry afterward. (Koichi did say for sure that the scene was supposed to be Ruka starting to do mouth-to-mouth, but then turning it into a kiss. I'd always kind of wondered about that. Good thing Makoto didn't really need the oxygen?)
Host: But you like girls, right?
Koichi: ...Well yes, if I said I like boys--
Host: --That would be strange, right?
Koichi: Right.
LOL Koichi. This male host kind of reminds me of how Downtown always lets their guests dig their own grave on HeyHeyHey. When Koichi appears there alone, it's always a bad idea, no matter how much KikuchiP edits the footage. One time he just started talking about his water and science stuff, cracking Downtown up at how idiotic he sounded marveling at the wonderful properties of common items. ("Water can split into parts and then reform its shape!" He really *should* have been a scientist.)
Another time he wandered into a story about how he and Tsuyoshi were lined up peeing together in a bathroom, and he started to meddle with him ("to hide my own embarrassment," he added). (ちょっかいを出す、according to my denshijisho-san, can mean either to meddle with or to hit on.) But "Tsuyoshi seemed to dislike that in earnest..." Then he moved into his usual story about touching Tsuyoshi's butt in the elevator, and how lately Tsuyoshi has just been ignoring him. Aaaand thats the way Koichi's segment ended, with Downtown trying so hard to stop cracking up and to continue their hosting duties.
I've been watching the iD con fancams, and Tsuyoshi is complaining about how popular he is with (gay) men. (He jokes that he himself is gay, just like he did in phi con. "You didn't notice? Those kind of signals have been so strong!") While Tsuyoshi is saying that it's lonely to be so popular with men, Koichi is cracking up at every single thing Tsuyoshi says in these concerts, and keeps praising him "Domoto Tsuyoshi tte sugee na~~!"
Just like in the film concert, Tsuyoshi and Koichi are so involved and happy with each other on stage, they ignore the audience. The final, one-hour MC at the last concert was about the right, satisfying length for a Kinki MC, I think. It's one time the audience didn't say "eeeeh?!" when they ended the MC.
I find it hilarious that the one part of the Garasu no Shounen dance Tsuyoshi still always does really exactly is the high kick that neither Koichi nor MA bother to do anymore. (I love new, self-expressing, ero-dancing Tsuyo, but I could do without the robot-dance trend. And sometimes I do miss those times when Tsuyoshi would perform all the choreography with the committment to each move that Koichi still does. I guess Sanche's not allowed to yell at Tsuyoshi anymore, huh.)
In phi con, Koichi received the うすうす present of a package of condoms from Tsuyoshi. (And BTW, am I wrong, or does the 12.23.07 Osaka fancam cut out right before the part where Koichi tells Tsuyoshi which brand to buy on stage? When it comes back in, Tsuyoshi is like "What you just said now was outrageous!" I seem to remember watching Koichi say it, but when I went back to check, I couldn't find it...) After he receives the condom package, Koichi says, "Last year I received an assortment of these." And when I watched iD con, Tsuyoshi was irritated that Koichi mentioned all the people that gave him presents, but seemed reluctant to mention that Tsuyoshi gave him a present too. Tsuyoshi said that it cost a lot of money I think, and Koichi was like, "Yeah I received your present too, but I DEFINITELY CANNOT SAY what it is here (on stage). Furthermore, there were 5 or 6 of them!" Whatever the "them" was was unclear, but is it safe to assume that it was the condom assortment I wonder? Therefore, Tsuyoshi has given Koichi condoms for his birthday two years running? Along with the bath salts, what kind of message is he sending, I wonder...
By the way, the "incident" at the end of the last iD con was blown way out of proportion. I can't believe that the fans made such a big deal out of it, and that Tsuyoshi (because of the fans' reaction?) felt the need to apologize on his jweb. Tsuyoshi's sadness and anger at the staff telling the media about "Music of Life" must have been a focus for some other underlying issues (maybe those creative control issues with the staff that Tsuyoshi mentioned in his jweb). Because he was being somewhat overdramatic in saying the staff's mistake like trampled into dust everything he and Koichi and the musicians worked for. Similarly, the fans' reactions to Tsuyoshi's leaving a few seconds early at the end of "Music of Life" must have been a focus for their underlying dissatisfaction with either his clothes and general appearance (which Koichi seemed to find awesome and hilarious, but which I've read fans criticize), or his honesty in saying that he was irritated and telling them why (because if he didn't say it, the fans could have had a nice illusion of a good time). Anyway it's silly to judge a whole concert series by the last 5 minutes.
