fenlingsI don't know exactly whom to blame for this, but I feel certain rageprufrock was involved. Guardian is, on the surface of it, so terrible. But it's so compelling and so gayyyyyyyyyyy. It's adapted from a BL novel that is much better and I'm impatiently waiting for the translation to update on Wattpad (I know). The 2 main actors just KILL their part, so you don't even mind the terrible effects and weirdly grafted on censorship alien backstory. (Give me my gay ghosts, China!!) Yes, it's not BL but the actors are clearly making it as BL as they can within the censors.
