Today was a spotting familiar actors day! There was Brian Blessed on "Blake's 7" playing his standard "crazy man" character. Then there was John Rhys-Davies (Arturo!) on "Robin of Sherwood" playing a King Richard I really wanted to trust but who was ultimately EVOL OMG. And finally there was the Doctor from "Voyager" in Jump Street.

Ah, Jump Street. I really love the way that Doug and Tommy always kiss and cuddle Hoffs. And the way they all are so physically affectionate with each other. OMG the new captain paired Tommy with Hoffs instead of Doug, and Tommy was all whining to him "But I usually go undercover with Doug!" and I swear to *God* the new captain asked, "Are you two dating?" And then Tommy just smiled and didn't answer. BECAUSE THEIR LOVE IS SO OBVIOUS THAT STRANGERS CAN TELL WITHIN MOMENTS OF MEETING THEM OMFG.

Um, I'm afraid I succumbed to the lure of the screencap again. ( But look how pretty! )

EEEEEEEEEEE! THE PERSUADERS EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
They are so in love! And yes they should so be married and have babies at Brett's manor, only not mpreg because mpreg is kind of squicky. I love how they bicker like they're married within moments of meeting each other. Such cuteness! Even though Tony was less pretty than Roger which really surprised me, and Tony's hair needed some Serious Help. And his dancing was really bad, but then everyone's was. But it was also a good show! The use of flashbacks in the second ep and the sad conflict and you can't go home again and wah. It was good. And it is also witty and funny, and has such good editing and cinematography and film actors that it feels more like a wonderfully long yet thoughtfully broken-up film and yay! ::dances::

In conclusion, Brett whistling "Danny Boy" to get Danny's attention is like ::flails:: the sweetest thing *ever*!

Now, on to "Unleashed"!

Yay "Unleashed"! Except my copy said "Danny the Dog" and that is the stupidest title ever, because, apart from not being as thematic and multiple-meaning-friendly as "Unleashed," the whole point of the movie is that he's *not* a dog.

But OMG it was so good it was like fanfiction! Seriously, just like fanfiction! Except in fanfiction we would have seen Danny get raped because everyone in fanfiction must be Raped to have Trauma, and then his rescuer would be a more attractive blind piano-tuning widower than Morgan Freeman (even though yay Morgan Freeman!) and there would be Tension between them, and he would have no daughter, or perhaps a very small one. But in all other respects! YAY! And Jet Li is SO GOOD at being my FAVORITE KIND of hidden angsty and he was just SO CUTE AND HUGGABLE WITH HIS TEDDY BEAR OMG and then dangerous and sexy with the collar and it was SO ANGSTY that I almost cried sometimes but then I didn't because I wanted to see the prettiness. Oh, and he was pretty too!

But it seemed kind of OOC for Danny's "Uncle" to beg Danny to kill him. We've never seen any suicidal or self-defeating trend in him before. Quite the opposite. Kind of convenient for Danny's inner struggle, eh?
