I just watched tri and I swear it is the gayest thing I have ever seen. The entire plot revolves around Taichi and Yamato having a fight and making up.
It was nice to see everyone and their relationships, and the digimon were cute. Apart from that, I did find Taichi's ~dilemma~ a little hard to take. It would be one thing if he were worried about hurting the digimon he sends into battle, or taking them away from their normal digital daily lives. But he seems to be mostly worried about property damage? And then maybe killing people by accident? Which is a good thing to worry about, except that the crazy digimon are going to be the ones killing people if you don't stop them. And the best way to stop them is to go into the digital world and find the root cause of the problem, which no one has talked about. It was ridiculous that Koushiro gave those special goggles to Taichi instead of finding some more comprehensive way of searching out the digital disturbance points. I'm still a little unclear on why the digimon need these children to stand around while the digimon fight their own battles - I wish the kids had more to do. I mean, to support the digimon, not enslave them (I'm looking at you, "Tamers" travesty.)
