Has anyone seen these?

Do we know if they're any good? It's just like... mind-boggling that they're out there in a romance line-type format. Two guilty pleasures in one!

But with a name like Romentics and positive reviews saying, "When reading overlook the grammatical errors," I'm thinking it leans more towards the romance novel line quality and less toward the good slash fiction side.

Hee, I like the review that's like, "I wish there had been fewer sex scenes, but then I'm a female lol." I was like ...woman, there are some people you need to meet.

But yeah, I've found that gay romance novels are mostly better in the concept than in the execution.

::reminds self to buy naomi novik::

omg, you so SHOULD. It's *amazing* (not that this comes as a shock, or anything). But yeah, I always feel obligated to buy stuff that gets published by fan writers, just because I get so much awesome free reading from them every day.

grammatical errors? If they go through a real publisher they'll have an editor to take them out. I used to read romance novels, grammatical errors were not in them. The short novellas about modern romances had tons, but not the bonafide novels. If they're recognized in the consortium they have lots of rules about how many times they can have vivid description of sex before they are married-I believe it's twice, and a bunch of other weird rules.

This info brought to you by way of my mother...romance reader fanatic.
