I spent last Saturday with nightmajik. She embarked on a diligent program of pimping J-Rock to me, so we spent most of the day watching J-Rock videos. Then we watched the beginning of Hana Yori Dango. Of course as soon as I got a spare moment at home, I devoured the rest on youtube. Then I started on Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, in the same whole love-across-social-classes vein, and am dling Gokusen. Seeing Matsumoto Jun again makes me want Kimi wa Petto fics with a *burning passion*. Too bad there AREN'T ANY. Man, dorama fandom seems to have a serious lack of fics. Lame.

I'd forgotten how doramas just *pound* the melodrama into you. They're like fics in that way, just so over the top. But I can't help it, even though I know I'm being manipulated, I fall for it *every time*. I wish glaphix were back from Taiwan so I could finally talk to her about the new doramas she's been babbling to me about for a year.



Oh, Captain Jack, was that seriously supposed to be CPR? No, really, tell me, because I'm not sure. I mean, Ianto kissed the cyberchick to wake her up, so maybe in the Torchwood universe kissing people really does revive them from unconsciousness? Hmm, Ianto didn't glow though.

I'm impatient to get to the real character development and interaction now. Fanservice is all well and good (and appreciated!), but let's get on with the story, mkay? Because right now I *still* don't care about anyone but Jack.

I am the devourer of doramas! I can't stand the suspense! Aaah, Tatta Hitotsu no Koi is such torture for me.
