K8 on SDK!!

GOD THE LOVE. SO GODDAMN FUNNY!!!

And without being very mean this time, or K8 looking like they were trying too hard! I was happy they were all getting along because it does sometimes bother me a little how Kinki (and you know, the rest of the Jimusho) treats the boys.

Everyone looked hot and was adorable! (Even Tsucchi was cute with his birfday!) And Maru got good screentime yay! And that preview of Shock made it look actually appealing. (Amazing, I know!) And the way everyone was grooving out to the end song! It seems like just K8 being there made everyone loosen up and have more fun. Maybe Kinki will start being naked and taking showers with each other now too!

Is KinKi that mean to K8 usually? They pick on them, but it doesn't feel as mean as, say, Utaban. (But I guess Utaban is in its own category of abusing Johnny's guests.)

At any rate, yeah, it was hilarious, and in a fun, unforced way. I love Domoto Kyoudai.

Yeah, Kinki are definitely not as bad as other people, but it's just little things like when they volunteered K8 for Tokoro George because they're "yurui." And I mean they *are*, but it makes it sound like K8 are not full-fledged working Johnnys. I guess I always have unreasonably high expectations for Kinki to be special senpai to K8 because they are the only senpai Kansai group for all the abandoned Kansai Johnnys. And I feel sometimes that Kinki are total Tokyo Johnnys and have ignored the Kansai Johnnys.

Hah, I bet this will be subbed within a week and I won't have to do it. (Though I hope whoever does it gets the "it's coming/I'm coming" pun. God Yoko was in fine form.)

Yeah, I always sort of feel like KinKi should be K8's mentor group, kind of, or at least have a special connection with them the way K8 does with at least the older generation of Kansai Jrs, but for whatever reason they don't. KinKi do seem very much Tokyo Johnny's, I guess since the distinction wasn't really there when they were junior. It's a pity that because of that K8 are sort of alone in being the Kansai group (despite it being KinKi's defining point too).

Someone commented to the download post that BNS is subbing it. Hopefully it'll be out quickly so everyone can properly enjoy this. (*dies* I totally should've gotten that pun, but I wasn't thinking. Oh Yoko.)

Hm, you know, I think part of it might be the kind of people Kinki are vs. K8. Kinki in one of the recent concerts were saying that キンキのファンは図書室にいそう, basically we're kinda nerdy. And I think that's mostly because, let's face it, Kinki themselves are complete nerds and otakus. K8 on average seem more sociable and quirky, so maybe it's just a personality thing?

Oh BNS. I seem to remember good things about their translations, so yay. Yes, especially Yasu's and Koichi's bakauke when Yoko said that. Priceless.

Mmm...it's funny, because K8 (and a lot of their fans) strike me as a bit on the nerdy side too. I mean, Yoko spent half of Recomen for a good few months advertising for a video game (and managed to get most of K8 playing it obsessively). And a number of them are fanboy-types, even if some hide it better than others. Granted, with the possible exception of Subaru they seem less socially retarded than Koichi, but I don't think that's saying much.

Yeah, they usually do well. I always think it must be awfully hard to translate K8 appearances, since they talk so much and all at the same time and use weird expressions and so on...

They do seem similar in some ways, with the hermit tendencies and tagging along behind their more outgoing boyfriends friends for shopping and that kind of thing. I'm not sure how similar they are in other ways since I haven't seen all that much of Koichi, but I can definitely see some similarities.

It's sad how interested I am when I hear those rumors that Koichi got angry at junior Subaru on Pikaichi one time. I create my own drama!

Ah, did he? Well, as I understand it, Pikaichi was when Subaru was having his teenage rebellion phase, so I'm not surprised he pissed some people off. But that was a long time ago and Subaru's gotten to be much less of a pissy teenager, so unless Koichi is impressively good at holding a grudge, it shouldn't matter anymore.

Yep! And it's probably not even true, or at least not in the sense of deep anger. But just like with any ~scandal~, like Tsuyoshi's heartbreak or Subaru and Takki or Nagase and Koichi's gay party, I'm such a sucker for possible explanations for the current state of things. ::invents creation myths::

Haha, yeah. I'm very curious about a lot of those well-known rumors, but sadly we'll probably never know the truth, especially about the ones that are at least partly true (and therefore involve stuff people don't want to talk about). But it's fun to wonder about, at least.

Tiny junior era Ryo-chan (and Subaru, for that matter) amuse me way too much. So small and squishable and thinking they're cool.

I really liked this episode, but actually I don't think KK have ANY problems with K8 and that's the reason why all flowed so good XD
