Girl Meets World

fenlingsI've been watching select episodes of Girl Meets World since the Xmas episode - basically, I watch any episode where Eric or Shawn guest star.
HOW do these actors not have their own tv shows by now? Eric is just so stupidly hilarious. And Shawn's acting and faaaaaace I can't. I once spent a day in a Boy Meets World youtube blackhole which involved multiple montage videos of Shawn crying. When Angela guest starred recently and told Shawn she was married, you could tell that Shawn was still in love with her by his FACE I die.
It's a lightly entertaining show to watch. The writing can be heavy-handed and simplistic, but it's also very witty at times, which gives me hope for the ~youth of tomorrow~. It seems a little hipper than Boy Meets World somehow, and Maya's sarcastic remarks are A++. I like that it consistently references and explains canon from Boy Meets World, rewarding the viewers who have seen both shows and also providing a sense of life history for the characters.
Anyway, ever since the Xmas episode I discovered a hitherto-unknown DEEP BURNING OT3 in Cory/Shawn/Topanga. I don't know where this came from! I've read the entire (small but good) contents of their tag. But I need more!!!
