It's been months since I watched Jump Street season 3 and intended-to-cap it. But, in a fever of vidding-procrastination, I have finally started actually capping.

First, up: The JV episode! "Swallowed Alive."

Preparing for my Methos vid, I'm rewatching all the Methos episodes. Yay.

Some of Amanda's outfits are really odd as well, so I should give him a break. Maybe fashion trends are too speedy and annoying for immortals to keep up with. Heh, Methos tries to go out dancing, but the last time he's been was in the '70s, and his disco suit is all wrong...

This time around, I have to say, Joe is *much hotter*, Methos is (if possible) even more of a beautiful sex god, Duncan makes me want to stab him with a fork most of the time, and Richie is wow okay hotter than he ever seemed to me before, but still *unbelievably* annoying. If he would just keep his mouth shut I think I could stand some Richie porn. Amanda is...Amanda. Sometimes I think she's the sanest character on that show. But I'm glad I only ever watched like 2 episodes of the Raven, because holy totemistic absurdity, Batman. ::pets imaginary Methos Chronicles episodes::

As soon as I go into rhapsodies about the Animorphs, who should appear on Supernatural but Rachel! And she was awesome and gun-toting like whoa. She seemed much prettier too somehow, although she looked exactly the same.

In other news, Little Britain is my new favorite show. I don't actually watch most of it; I just fast forward to the parts with Anthony Stewart Head getting groped each episode, and those two minutes are SO WORTH IT. (Wow with Veronica Mars stealing Brad and Janet's lines in their dialogue and ASH being gay and lovely, I feel very Rocky Horror all of a sudden. I totally had all the songs stuck in my head after hearing just those two lines on VM. So annoying. PS: LOGAN WITH A GUN YES AND TIED DOWN AND BEAT UP YES THANK YOU THANK YOU.)

Oh, ASH. I *loved* him as Oliver; I loved him as Giles; but ASH as the Prime Minister is just so so so happying. He is all powerful and lovely and never breaks character. It's like a character from a real show got stuck in this sketch comedy show, with VERY PLEASING RESULTS. Thank you, boy_touching, for alerting me to this.

I just realized that the new Darcy is the guy from MI-5! ( Clickety for pictoral evidence. )

I totally didn't recognize him! He's SO MUCH HOTTER as Darcy. I think it's the hair. Yum. I don't watch MI-5, but I recognized him from the vids, like this good vid "The Real Great Britain," with OMG MY BASHIR! ::snugs:: That's why I love this vid, not because of Darcy. And, okay, looking at another vid it looks like Anthony Stewart Head also guest-starred on this show. I may have to actually watch it.

You should have seen me trying to control myself in the theater during Kingdom of Heaven when Bashir came onscreen all unexpectedly and started BEING WONDERFUL AND LOVELY AS USUAL. God, I LOVE HIM.

You know though, when I watched DS9, I had no idea that Bashir was supposed to be Arabic. I just thought he was, um, tan... I WAS THIRTEEN OK?

And, huh, I don't think I have ever heard of a single Bashir vid. This is WRONG, and needs to be FIXED by someone who is NOT ME, because I already have too many fandoms to vid - oh GOD! - ::frantically staves off approaching vidbunnies::

I am still on my neverending quest for a Persuaders song for a vid. I've downloaded and listened to so many songs, and I swear, I'm getting millions of vidbunnies by the *second* it's *ridiculous* for EVERY OTHER FANDOM IN THE WORLD, even ones I don't watch! But for Persuaders? Nothing. ::sigh::

The Highlander cartoons here, here and here are so freaking hilarious I can't imagine why I haven't seen them before. The other multi-fandom and Stargate cartoons here are also fracking funny, and the actor calendars are, um, hawt and adorkable. ::licks Peter Wingfield::

Okay, it's official. The Sentinel fandom SUCKS at pimping! Is this some kind of Sentinel hazing ritual? The sekrit episode download page that no one even in the Sentinel lj communities talks about or has a link to or gah. I still need seasons 3 and 4 though. I wonder if these downloads rotate...

Someone answered my plea for a good cam of Serenity, except the sound cuts in and out annoyingly at the end. It struck me on this rewatch that Wash is the Xander character of Firefly. And since Xander is the Joss of Buffy, that means that when ( Spoily McSpoilerton )

I've been reading some Jump Street fic, and I have to say, although at least there's a lot of ::coughbadlywrittencough:: Doug/Tommy, the fic in general is pretty scarce and juvenile. Not as bad as Newsies fic, but still. I was only looking for someone to write my Newsies OTP of Spot Collins/older!Les. But all I got was a bunch of Mary Sues. ::criez:: And SeaQuest! Small fandoms have no love for my OTPs. There was like *one* Miguel/Lucas story, and all the others had Lucas fucking the entire rest of the male crew, sometimes all at once, or else in starry-eyed love with more Mary Sues. Blarg.

Um, I did *not* know that Peter DeLuise and Stella Kowalski were married. That makes the Jump Street/Due South crossover just waiting to be written practically canon doesn't it? ::brain hurts::

Next up: I've been rewatching The Others lately, and have started writing my OT3. Yay.

(Um, speaking of psychic sex, anyone have any good Spock angst they wanna rec me? I've been jonesing for it lately. Academy!Spock or alienatedonVulcan!Spock or even alienatedinStarfleet!Spock. Or uh, *teenage!Spock*. I swear, when Kirk finds the reborn Spock and *touches* him--gawd teenage Spock is beautiful--and carries him away, that is like, the single hottest moment in all of the Star Trek movies.)

I especially liked "Ghetto Superstar," "I'm not sick, but I'm not well," and the Spice Girls song. Morden=Posh Spice omg! <3 The "Closing Time" vidlet wasn't that exciting, but I could *not stop* saying "Yay!" at regular intervals every time Methos and Joe appeared on screen. Such is the Power of the Multi-Fandom Vid. It makes us squee for every second our favorite fandom (Methos) is given in the vid, no matter how well-crafted a second. It's like we're competing with other fandoms for the title of "Most Worthy of Being Vidded." ::shakes head::
